Single

deep dive

That was actually first demo i wrote on Digitakt II. In this song synth sound won over guitar samples from first two singles - that's why it has more classic darksynth sounds. Vocals became more variable and dramatic - from soft singing in verses to chainsaw harmonies in choruses. As i'm writing this description 1.5 years after this song was released i find it way harder to describe senses - sounds like deep dive is about deepression and how help from close people feels painful in this state. Take a listen, i heard that good art is open for interpretation. Also this song features my wife on backing vocals.

Lyrics

I'm sinking slow
Too deep to breathe
Heart too loud
But words too weak
Currents pull
They won't release -
No escape, no relief

I'd rather drown than never feel
(I'd rather not)
I don't want numb, I don't want it
(I want)
Scars remind me I was real
(I wasn't)
Pain's the proof that I can heal

Lost in the mess of a mind
Tell me how I feel
Make a deep dive
Feelings burn
But make it worth

I'm hostile to myself
That's all I know
A stranger in my skin
Nowhere to go
I'm human after all
But I don't want to be

Damn, I wanna stop the sense
(I don't)
Love and hate blur into one
(They won't)
Hold on tight, then let it go
(Or stay)
Linger long, then start to fall

Lost in the mess of a mind
Tell me how I feel
Make a deep dive
Feelings burn
But make it

Cursed with joy, blessed with pain
Wouldn't have it any other way
Sink or swim, twist or shout
Feel it all, then say goodbye
